A House in the Woods and a Design Philosophy I Didn't Know Existed

A recent stay in Stillwater, Minnesota, introduced me to a design philosophy I hadn't explored before: biophilic design. It started with a house tucked among mature trees and natural landscaping that immediately caught my attention. There was something about the way it blended into its surroundings that felt incredibly calming. That experience got me thinking about our connection to nature and how the spaces we live in can influence the way we feel.
